So my mom's back. From her one-week conference in UK, and she didnt come back empty handed.
Dont get me wrong, Im happy as ever to have her back, but Im also happier then usual, especially with all the stuff she brought back HAHA. Trying my best here not to sound materialistic.
So, she came back with the usual list of things you cant get in Msia; good chocolate, Walkers crisp, cheap Topman, oh and a record-player. Im not kidding.
Ever since we found the derelict vinyl collection of 30-years plus, mom and dad have secretly been trying to find a record player, to re-live the glory days, I suppose. And re-live they did. Woah, they were on fire last night, dancing here, shaking there, they actually looked young for a minute.
I enjoyed it myself, listened to Michael Jackson, Rah Band, Paula Abdul, Rockwell aaaaaaand many many more retro records with big big hair. Now I know what they did back then to past the time. They just sat there! HAHA, and swayed to the music.
Oh, on a side-note, she got me new shoes from Topman as well. I love her.
