"I'll Go. I'll Go. I'll Go. I'll Go."

I should never listen to my older brother. Period.

Last year, whilst I was in US, I made it an objective to buy as many dvds I could get my hands on. So, visiting the Virgin Megastore on the Walk Of Fame was like another holiday in itself, for me. I had a blast, walking around the mega(wuh?)store and seeing all these cool things that I cant find in M'sia, but the movies were the reasons why I was there. You should've seen me, I was this asian teenager waltzing around the store with no care in the world like a Disney movie, with a stack of dvds in my hand. I was happy and content with all my purchases, solid movies.

But, there is one regret; Ferris Bueller's Day Off. When I say 'regret', I dont mean that I shouldnt have bought it, it's the fact that I didnt buy it is the problem. I had the copy in my hand, glancing through the luscious hair of 80's Broderick on the front cover, saying to myself, "Adrees, you've got to buy this.", because I've heard of the movie, and I've been trying to find it on dvd. BUT, my dear older brother tapped me on my shoulder and casually said, "Dont, man. That movie sucks ass". I was contemplating whether to listen to him, or not. The problem is, I listened to him. sigh, idiot.

Last week, I watched the movie for the first time on Astro, and fell in love again with 80's creative cinematography. And dont get me started on the brilliant idol character of Ferris Bueller, the writers created a gold mine with this character, he's just pure awesome! Matthew Broderick at his prime, not that it lasted long.

ALSO, supporting performance from Alan Ruck as Cameron, the ever-loyal best friend stole the show. I just loved his character, to bits.

Morecambe High School

I dont usually blog about my dream(s). There's a good and solid reason for that; I just simply never remember them haha.

BUT, this time was an exception. I think, for me to actually remember and memorise the certain details of my dream(s), I would have to enjoy the dream(s) and wish it would never end. I just enjoyed a dream, so I remember a few things.

This dream was unexpected and very random, but what dream isnt, right?. It was on the night of my senior prom, and I was all pimped from head-to-toe, looking all fly and mingling with the crowd, basically having a real good time and enjoying mydreamself. Suddenly, I look over to the far wall and there they were, just standing there, non-chalantly; Peter Tait and Phil Jackson, two of my best friends from my days in the UK.

Oh, I got excited. Real excited. I remember in the dream, I skipped all the way to other side of the hall and just jumped between them. They were wearing suits and tux's, proper for the occasion, which is weird. The three of us sipped some bubbly and the first words that came out of their mouths were, "Hey, wanna follow us back to UK?". Naturally, I replied with a hasty and confident "YES".

So, in the dream, what follows next, is a scene at the airport(the thing is with dreams, you suddenly have the ability to cut unimportant scenes to make it more convenient haha), and I'm at the counter, making a purchase for a ticket to Great Britain.

This dream definitely made re-live the good times I had over there . I know the UK is not my home, but I've had so many special memories there, and its sentimental value creates a sense of home-sickness that I cant stand sometimes.

You know what's funny? The fact that the ticket was RM39.90 HAHA!

Paramore Live Lounge cover,

Woah, damn.

MUIZZUDDINSHAH BIN ABD AZIZ,

First things first; Muiz, I'm so sorry for not noticing that today was in fact your birthday.
And, I'm sorry for wishing your older sister, who shares the same birthday with you, but at the same time not wishing you haha.

Today is Muiz's birthday, he's 17. I only wish we could spend it together, with the rest of the gang, just like we used to.

I wont be afraid to admit that the original quartet has not been the same since beginning of this year, well, end of last year to be honest. Things just keep changing for the worst, things that either forbid or delay certain things that we, as a group, do. So, it definitely sucks that we are not as close and bound tight as before.

But, there's nothing we can do but wait it out. It's the only option, unless we stumble upon a time-machine, then lets talk.

Whatever happens, whatever is said, whatever is done, I know one thing for sure; Muiz, you are the man. Love you, Happy Birthday.

Green Lantern.

Sorry, no trailer. BUT, it's been decided. everything. The release date, the director, the producer, the location, and the reason why I wanted to post this up; the actor who'll play Hal Jordan.

It's none other then the infamous Ryan Reynolds. Seriously, he's more then perfect for the job. Even his jawline is fit to Jordan description.

Here's a bite-size reference, if you need it haha:

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - After an intense months-long search, Warner Bros. has chosen Ryan Reynolds to play the title character in "Green Lantern," the studio's live-action movie based on the DC Comics hero.

Reynolds and his representatives entered negotiations for the part Friday, after the studio held two rounds of screen tests for the actor, Bradley Cooper and Jared Leto. Justin Timberlake also did a screen test.

The film is being directed by Martin Campbell and produced by Donald De Line and Greg Berlanti.

One reason for the lengthy search process was that De Line, Campbell and the studio each had a different favorite among the finalists, making it difficult to come to a consensus.

If the deal is completed, it would make Reynolds the only actor to have played heroes for both Marvel and DC. He recently starred in a comic-book movie, 20th Century Fox's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," in which he played Deadpool, also known as the Merc with a Mouth. The character is being developed for a spin-off in which Reynolds will star. He also played Marvel's vampire hunter Hannibal King in "Blade: Trinity."

"Lantern" is Reynolds second stab at a DC Comics hero. A few years ago, he was attached to play the comic company's speedster "The Flash."

....I'm so chuffed that it's Reynolds. Man, he's got Deadpool and GL under his belt, now that is something to boast about haha. 2011, here we come.

'Spread'

An Ashton Kutcher movie that actually looks decent, due to the fact that it looks like Ashton is actually acting in this one! :O.
Sigh, the good flicks just keep coming.

'Moon'

Simple title, yet an intricate storyline.
Oh, and it's Sam Rockwell, what more could you ask for?.

'Jennifer's Body'

:D. I know that you guy's would think it's just another stereotypical teen-movie, especially with Megan Fox being the lead actress and everything,

well, think again :). looks like we have another promising movie.

'Daybreakers'

I believe it's safe to say that we have a whole lot of movies to look forward to at the end of this year and next.
This one in particular has Willem Defoe :). I miss Willem Defoe.

Fit! Another one! HAHA.

Oh man, it's a movie about nazi zombies....NAZI zombies. 'nuff said.

'Bruno'

Lady: "You swapped the baby for what?!"

Bruno:"..an iPod."

'It Might Get Loud'

..that wasnt a statement, it's the title of the movie. It's actually a documentary, about the electric guitar. It doesnt get more interesting then that haha. The Edge from U2, Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin and Jack White from White Stripes, the cast.

FITRI, watch this..

FIT! ANOTHER ZOMBIE-FLICK. HAHA!. DUDE, this movie looks like another Shaun Of The Dead, and I know you havent seen it yet, but it's okay.
This movie looks like it's going to occupy most of my time next year(that is, when I have nothing else to do :) )

It's all good,

http://www.npr.org/blogs/monkeysee/2009/09/disney_marvel_and_the_tortured.html

Recently, Marvel was bought over by Disney. For a worth of $4 Billion, in cash and stock.
AND, obviously, like any other die-hard and common fan of the half-a century comic legends; I freaked. I mean, come on! the first thing that came into my head when I heard the news was an Iron Man suit with a hidden-Mickey at his repulsor blasts!. BUT, I realised that Disney are also businessmen, which means it's all about profit.

So, do not fret, fellow fans. The day Disney meddles with Marvel's multi-billion-dollar business plan, AND their fans, will be the day Mickey Mouse shoots Donald Duck in the face for sounding so annoying.

Oh, visit the link above if you're still paranoid, it'll enlighten you.

'got money'

I paid my share of the dj money :D. Finally. All is well.

HAH!

Chelsea Chelsea Chelsea, tsk tsk.

So, the governing body of the world's football, FIFA, have just recently fined and hit Chelsea FC with a transfer ban. Let me repeat myself; transfer ban.

This ban is spread out between 2009 and 2011, ending on January of the latter year. Chelsea were given this brutal ban after persuading a young striker from a french team to breach his still-standing contract, which is a BIGBIG deal in the football world. in any world for that matter.

This just goes to show; when you give your word, make sure you're good for it. If not, dont even bother.

Sigh, it just warms me up knowing that Chelsea arent going to be buying anyone anytime soon haha.

post that was drafted last sunday.

On a sunday morning, without fail, one of the first things I would do is give the newspaper a good read, find out what's going on in the world before I venture into it. Today was no different; I flicked through the pages and stopped to read at the headlines that caught my attention, the usual method for me to fill myself with the happenings of the world around me.

One certain article caught my attention, with it's headline which reads, 'Hip-Hop Concert With A Catch'. Just by giving that nonchalant headline a glimpse and I could predict the infamous topic to it, and I prepared myself for some personal opinionated anguish.

Guinness, the famous brewer, turns 250 years old this year and is holding its anniversary celebrations around the world, one of these high-profile celebrations being held in Malaysia. People are amassing to attend in hopes for an amazing time, with no doubt they will not be dissapointed since Black Eyed Peas are performing. But, some things that sound too good to be true are most often not, or in this case, have strings attached.

The invite is only forwarded to the non-muslim community, with muslims not allowed entry. Dramatic.

Nizlopi- Extraordinary

Ok, so I know that for most people(myself, for example), it's hard to watch a video on someone's blog unless I know for certain it's not going to be a waste of my time. SO, trust me on this one; this song is definitely not a waste of anyone's time, because it's absolute pure musical talent. Enjoy, guys.

Noooo, YOU did it! :)

Hi there :) adrees's sunshine here blogging on his behalf. Well behind his back actually.. Haha.

So guess who's khatam-ing the quran as I'm blogging right now? Haha. Who else but Adrees :) And I'm super duper proud of him. I mean how often do you finish reading 3thousandsomethingsomething pages/ayat (or something like that) of pure arabic words! Okay maybe everyday for the pak imams at the mosque. But this is adrees khataming! haha. And I'm just proud of him :)

Haha, I think I'm over excited over this khataming thing right now.

positivity; I crave for you..

Well, I went to sleep last night without realising that there was an Arsenal match to be played, so I got out of bed and switched on the tv, hoping I didnt miss it. Luckily enough, it was 2 minutes into the game :)

So, I watched it. Champions League play-offs for the group stages. Arsenal vs. Celtic. It was a no-brainer really. I'm not going to bore you guys by getting all technical about the match, because that's not why I'm blogging, and also after 40 minutes I accidentally dozed off. The human brain can only take so much sleep deprivation haha.

But, those 40 minutes were bliss, to be honest. It was real nice to see them play, I mean, it reminds me of good times, you know?. I think, anything that reminds me of any time before this year is considered as good times. So, what I'm trying to say is, in a most literal sense; I cant wait to be done with SPM and watch all the Arsenal matches I want :D. Or something to that effect :)

Anyways, they won. Arsenal beat them on a 5-1 aggregate, scored 3 goals and only conceded one. Like I said before, I'm not going to get all technical, and I wont :).

Arsenal is kicking ass this year.

...

First official weekday of the holidays, and things are not looking so good.

I'm swinging back and forth from my room and my brother's room. Studying and then having the sudden urge to pop in for a visit, really really random. They're getting pissed off actually.

The thing is, I have nothing else to do!. sigh. It's either I'm prohibited from the certain something, or the certain something isnt even there, in which case I compensate by randomly coming into my little brother's room and watch him play Runescape. I know I know. He's getting weirded out by it, but I have no choice. I cant sit down and study for hours on end, it's just not the way I do it.

On a very happy side-note; Sofia's fine now :).

Friday, August 21, 2009

i'm worried. i'm scared. i'm sleepless. i'm hoping.

..dont scare me like this, kay sunshine?.

holy..

..ok, there is no cause for alarm, people. Everyone stay calm.

I know there are bigger and more demanding threats that come with the new pandemic; H1N1. BUT, I just realised something.....how're we gonna go for the ramadhan bazaar's?????.

Self-explanatory

The beginning of the end is a few days away. I'm talking about Trials.

This friday will mean that the excruciating process of mind-numbing stress and pressure is well on it's way. hoorah. sigh

BUT, I'm taking this head-on. No whinging, no complaining, and I need to stop sigh-ing.
I believe that with a positive attitude, I'll get into the perfect mindset for this fucking ordeal. Mind the language, SPM brings the worst out of me.

So, perfect mindset means the want to study. When I have the want to study, I'll get the good grades.

......if only it were that simple.

"What's It Accelerate?"

I'm going to keep this short and simple.

I never saw it coming.

This movie is uh-mazing. Definitely triumphed in the unofficial Blockbuster Battle Royale of '09 haha. Oh, and it's got the best cinematic entrance of a single character ever since Edward Cullen. SNAKE EYES, *drools*.

Michal Macku

I just realised I didnt mention his name in all the boasting haha.

Michal Macku, everyone.

strange, I like it strange.

He's the Czech Republican who's been trying to break the mould since 1978. He's also my new favourite photographer. Step aside Doisneau.

"5...4...3...2...1"

Time is of the essence.

We're slowly but surely on our way towards the acronym that we have been dreading for the past 5 years. It's inevitable now, there is no escaping it. It's not like there was a way to elude it in the first place, but the thought of it being so close that you can smell the 2b lead on the A4 official exam paper, really brings it home, in a sense that; "Woah, it's here..".

We have all, hopefully, learned to cope with this impending doom that might as well be called 'Judgement Day'. We strive to achieve the level of hardwork that fulfills our parents, our teachers, our friends, and mostly, ourselves. In the long run, the effort, whether it be substantial, will eventually get paid off, in a more then rewarding way. We cant be selfish with this opportunity; if we wont do it for our own sake and benefit, then do it for the people that love and care for you, they only wish to see you happy and content with life.

I know, that the months building up to it will be harsh and filled with sleepless nights, with your only company being monotonous textbooks and your trusty reading lamp, and the much-awaited month itself, from day one till god knows, will undoubtedly be an arduous task, indefinitely.

But, like I mentioned earlier; all your sweat, blood and tears will not be in vain.

Also, look forward to the times ahead, times beyond the three letters. Yes, time will still exist after our ordeal.
Just imagine; total and utter freedom. The clean and free conscience that you once lost, you'll find again.

We're not the only one's who go through this.

'beer summit'

This picture just made me smile when I saw it in the papers this morning.
Leave it to the first african-american President to quench a nation wide racial row, with a tall one and some peanuts.

It doesnt get more simple then this.
And I swear; Biden is there just for the peanuts haha.

:(

It's a dark day for Arsenal, and judging by the direction things are taking, it's not going to get brighter anytime soon.

We just lost one of the most prominent and hard-working central-defenders the EPL has ever seen. Kolo Toure was one of the reasons why loyal Gunners could watch an Arsenal match with confidence and not worry that the opposition would slip past the defense, because with Toure, they rarely did.

He is one of those rare defenders, who's presence would be strongly felt if he decided to move up the pitch. I mean, because of him, Arsenal's defense was the envy of the entire league. He was, quite literally, the backbone of Arsenal's defense.

I know for a fact, that with his departure, Arsenal just suffered a great loss. Sadly, with Toure leaving, we can only interpret it as another crippling blow to our already slim chances of winning any silverware next season. Sorry for being such a pessimist, but it's the god damned truth. sigh.

BUT, like I said earlier, Kolo Toure is an excellent player and sportsman, we only wish we could get more like him.
Good Luck with everything, K.T

long time coming,

Last night, I left the house with the purpose of having some much-deserved relaxation. Sigh, really needed it.

Got the 'a-okay' from my dad, and left the house without looking back haha. Spent some quality time with brothers and close cousins; we reminisced on the past, we bitched about the present and we got scared of the future hahaha. Just a typical get together :)

And now, I'm trying to get to OU. wish me luck.

Friday, July 24, 2009

...heh, he just did.

Nelson Alexander Ross

And there I was thinking Alex Ross cant get any cooler.

good riddance

Emmanuel Adebayor is finally gone from the Arsenal roster. Thank god.
The guy was a wannabe diva. I mean, we all can handle divas, they're everywhere these days, so we get used to them. We live with it. But THIS guy, sigh, he was a wannabe diva. It doesnt get much more annoying then someone thinking he has the right to be a diva, when he doesnt.

He had no loyalty whatsoever towards Arsene. Take the previous season for instance; he knew we needed him. Eduardo was injured, and Fabregas and Persie were not exactly in scoring form. So what does he do? He demanded for a pay rise in his weekly wage, or he leaves.
It's safe to say that Adebayor was never a fan-favourite with me, which is why I'm taking his departure in a positive way

NO WORRIES though. We've got Arshavin, Ramsey, Senderos and Traore are back from their loans, and Rosicky is finally back after being injured for the whole of the previous season.

SNIFF* I smell EPL cup silverware haha.

ARGH! :O

I think this is a long-term thing. Me not being able to blog properly. Im trying my best to get into the mood and type something that is worthwhile, but I just cant.

I know what's the reason behind it, that much I know. It isnt exactly something I can ignore, or deal with right here-right now. Like I mentioned before, this is a long-term effect.

SPM, everyone.

I dont have the time anymore to creatively blog about my daily doings HAHA. Even when I do find the time(when I'm lucky), I'd be having a first-degree writer's block. So, what I'm trying to say is: You will have to put up with my dragging, boring, extremely short and inconsistent blog.

For those who dont really give a damn; this is, in its own way, a warning. A warning for the next time you visit my blog and read my posts, this is what you might say: "huh?!" or "..."
But, if there are a few of you who are my best-est-estest friends, and would 'Follow' my blog through thick and thin; Do not fret, people I love HAHA. This is not a permanent thing. It'll blow-over and I'll be blogging my creative ass off. I promise.

On a side note, I miss Muhammad Jimbo dearly. And I would love for him to sleepover my house again. He's comforting, both physically and emotionally. Can he, Sof'? :)

"Guess Who's Back?"

I...dont know how to blog anymore :|

It feels like it's been forever since my last post, and in a way, it has been. Damn, I hope I have my blogging-mojo.

So, many many things to blog about. I dont really know where to start. And, Im not going to waste my time by cracking open my head and trying to condense all that's happened in the past few weeks into one short blog. I dont have the time or will to do that anymore. Although, I miss doing it though.

Ok, I'll try and pull something off:

Of bargain prices and Alan Moore,

Mr.Sri, our school english teacher and computer lab dude, has opened up his private collection of 20 years to the public(school), but at a price. a very cheap price.

At first, I was all stoked and excited, being an avid comic reader and fan myself. Went through his boxes of twenty years past and found alot of titles that really interested me. But, one that really tingled my spider-sense was Tom Strong. I mean, my god. I was hoping of getting it for my _____ next month, hinting to everyone I know and love HAHA. School was the last place I thought I'd find it. So, as of now, I am a proud owner and caretaker of Alan Moore's Tom Strong #1. Thank you, Mr. Sri you very very cool man.

Then, I started getting annoyed and pissed HAHA. People were coming in and out, rummaging through the boxes without a care in the world, looking for something colourful. sigh. I mean, people who dont even know the difference between Batman and Robin were picking 'em up and buying them just because they were either cheap, or 'had a nice cover', or even both. I saw so many valuable comics leave in the wrong hands. Dont get me wrong, I just want them to be appreciated the way they deserve to be.

But, if I hear the sentence; "Eh!? nice cover! I like the colours! I'm getting this!", one more time, I'm gonna crack.

If I've offended anyone in anyway, I'm sorry. Its just the way it is HAHA.

Thursday, June 18, 2009

So, in commemoration of next week's release of the Transformers sequel, I felt like posting up the song that most probably led to me falling in love with the 80's HAHA.
This song was written and performed by Stan Bush, dont know who the hell he is, but he made one hell of a song.

For those who are not familiar with the cliche, stereotypical '80's rock anthem', then open your ears and listen well, cause this song will rock your world :D, if not then maybe your evening.

This song and I go waaaaay back. Back to the first time I watched this awesome movie when my dad introduced it to me. So, it's got sentimental value, plus it kicks ass. Listen and listen well, and get into the mood whilst I wait for next wednesday.

'jaws'

Its that time of the month.

That time of the month where an old lady who doesnt seem to own any self-control, or manners for that matter, shoves her hands into my mouth and turns my forehead into an arm-rest.

I'm talking about the dentist.

Just got back from my monthly appointment, retightened the grillz. As usual, I have a few days of oral anguish to look forward to, and if I'm lucky, a good strong week!. Sigh.

But, I'm used to it by now, so no biggie. Cant waste my time complaining. Should ignore it and just study. Hit the books.

Hmm, maybe I can whine a lil' bit. Just a lil'.

"An oral history of the Zombie War"

Good news, everyone. Actually, the good news may only apply to me, since I dont know anyone else who reads this book.

BUT, Max Brooks' best-seller, World War Z, signed up with a production company and they're on their way with the movie adaptation. Which is fucking amazing news, for me.

Reading the book, I can already imagine it played out on the big-screen, and let me tell you now, that it looks pretty mind-blowing. I stress on the word 'mind' since it literally is in my mind, but I know for a fact it'll be as good as the book.

Oh, and I'd like to take this opportunity to advertise this rich piece of modern literature to all you out there, and convert you guys into zombie-loving-genre people, like me haha. So, go out there, and grab this book. I SWEAR, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Max Brooks, you genius.

Oh, whats that? My bday is next month?
And what's this? a picture of Alan Moore's America's Best Comics creation; Tom Strong?

I'M GOING COLD TURKEY.

Thursday, June 4, 2009

Its been awhile,

Hey. It's me, Adrees. I dont know whats wrong with me lately for the past few weeks, but I just havent got the mood to blog. I wont say that's a bad thing, because I think the reason is because I've been involved with something else. Im consumed :)

Enough about that, let's just get to the 'current emotional state' and 'how Ive been feeling lately' part of the blog:

Im currently as happy as I can be, and lately I've been smiling alot.

I think that about sums it up in one sentence. I hope you enjoyed my pathetic attempt to recapture my blogging mood, if you didnt, there's always next time.

No, its things looking up.

Not literally. But, things around me are just turning for the better. I dont get to say that often.

So for now, Im appreciating whatever I already have to its fullest. And, embracing whatever I will have.

I see no reason not to smile nowadays =].

RM1440.00

I had enough time to polish my graphic novels. Yes, I polish them. Just to keep them in a nice condition. I cherish these novels, go figure. And yes, I should rather be studying.

Also, with an estimation of 60 ringgit per novel, my entire graphic novel collection sums up to a whopping RM1440. WOAH.

Tun? Hi-Tea? Apples?

Tun had his hi-tea bday lunch yesterday, at Sheraton. It was fun, with good food. and good people. Spent most of the time with the usuals: Sofia, Muiz and Fitri. Speaking of Muiz, guess who got thrown into the pool? HAHA. Yeah, it was a majority vote from all of us to dunk him in the pool. He didnt mind. If youre reading this Muizzuddin, I love you.

Oh, and dont believe what you read on Sofia's blog HAHA.

Btw Sofia, remember when you wanted me to stay back and accompany you till your dad picked you up? and he came early? I was left alone at the lobby for FORTY minutes :|.

"Live Long, and Prosper"

Started off the weekend with a good one, Star Trek. It blew my expectations out of the water, Im even going as far as saying that this epic and instant-classic is far better compared to X-Men Origins:Wolverine. There, I said it.

Seriously though, I fell for this movie as soon as I heard the infamous *beeps* made famous more then thirty years ago, during the opening credits. Also, this movie has the most emotionally intense opening sequence in any movie I've seen this year yet, and last year actually. If I wasnt too into the U.S.S Kelvin battling its guts out with the Romulan ship, I wouldve at least shed a single tear. Just one. I would watch it again, solely based on the need to see the first ten minutes of it. Thats how good the intro is.

AND, even though I havent actually exposed this to anyone, I was technically brought up with the Star Trek legacy. As much as I subconsciously tried to avoid it, my dad and his Trek-ness was an unstoppable force HAHA. Even though my time was during the reign of Patrick Stewart a.k.a Captain Jean-Luc Picard , I still cought a 'few' names of the iconic batch; James T. Kirk, Uhura, Spock, Sulu, Chekov, McCoy and even Scotty. So, watching them re-live these characters with such portrayal was awesome.

...gave me another reason to smile this weekend =]

Propaganda

...is the dissemination of information aimed at influencing the opinions or behaviors of people.

Currently, I'm not happy with the school. I'm not saying that I've been happy before, just more then the usual.
So, there is this sudden change of responsibility between the teachers now, from what I've been listening to, the discipline is as tight as ever. Well, not the discipline itself, but the methods they're using to enforce it.

What gets me peeved, is the fact that some teachers believe us; the students, to be a bunch of juvenile idiots. For instance, Sakuntala has this little campaign, and she doesnt even realise it. I mean, she'll come into your class, and repeat the same story, the same lecture, the same dialogue she's given to the class before. It'll be something about how we're adding on immense stress on our dear parents, and how we will be the cause of their untimely deaths (wtf?). Its propaganda, funny thing is, she doesnt even know it. Hitler needed Goebbels, we have Sakuntala HAHA.

stud-ayh

stud-ayh, we did.

It wasnt in our normality, or better yet, nature to skip school for the sake of education. But, we did it anyway. MID-TERMS, bitch.
We ended up having an excellent time with our books and cue sticks. Wisely switching from maths to pool HAHA. Might not sound as productive, but trust us, it definitely is.

What's the number one factor that you need when deciding to study?    comfort.

Im not too sure about you, but I'll choose air-conditioning, carpeted floors, awesome chairs, 'yes, you can smoke', and my good friends over school anyday. Okay, maybe I'm telling you this so that I wont sound like a delinquent who despises any form of educational institute, but truth of the matter is, I just wisened up HAHA.

refreshing

Today, Ive started reading again. novels.

I have to say, it feels...good?. So, I hope this little spur of the moment lasts, because it really does feel nice to read. Also, it kills time, and at the moment, I have alot of free time. Althought, I should be spending it studying since exams are a week away, is it?.

I think I'll stick to thiller novels for now.

another

I'm pretty sure I dont have to say what comic-adaptation sequel this picture belongs to.

Wade Wilson

I watched the edited version of X-Men Origins: Wolverine yesterday, with the gang. It was funny and at the same time, amazing. 'nuff said. Funny due to the fact that Adruce and I have seen it before, un-edited HAHA.

So, Irsyad already took Gambit in his blog, no problem though, I always had a soft-spot for Wade Wilson/Deadpool. SIGH

Logan: "Dont you ever shut-up, pal?"

WADE WILSON: "...No. Not when I'm awake"

walking,

...I was born for it. not in a literal sense.

I walked from 18, to 19. From 19, back to 18. From 18, to Holiday Villa. From Villa, to Subang Parade. From Subang Parade, back to 18. I'll give you a sec to let it sink in..

Yeah, it hurt. The sorrows of being underage, and not having a tin can with four wheels. I didnt even have a bicycle. sigh
LEFT FOOT, RIGHT FOOT; respect.

reality-smack in the face..

So, I was thinking about how Ive spent my time, and what Ive spent my time on, for the past couple of years. And, Im not too happy to be honest.

I remember I found one of those quote posters, that had a Calvin and Hobbes theme to it; it was 'future'. I googled it, and I found it. This poster is so damn significant, ignoring the cheesy sentence at the bottom, the message is loud and clear. As a matter of fact, the message is in BIG BOLD letters.

Really look at the poster, really appreciate its purpose. Seriously, it'll make you think. I know it worked on me; Calvin, one of the most iconic juvenile pop culture icon who is more of a modern-day Peter Pan, is all grown-up. He's waving to a young girl, who's holding the imaginary confidante Hobbes' hand. Him, still looking back at Calvin, his 'best friend'.

ARGH. This poster is just simply powerful, it makes me think about the future. Not the past.
Which is good, I've wasted enough of my time.

SMILE

I got my metallic smile retightened two days ago. and it still hurts.

Seriously, it's never been this bad. Usually it'll last two days max, this time it doesnt seem to fade. Sigh, I miss eating food without worrying of inhumane pain.

Ive decided to blog longer blogs. Which means I should cut down on the short sentences. Its actually kinda hard, I blog in a simplistic way; I find something worth and interesting to blog about. I make it simple, short and sweet in my head and type it down. Nothing more.

I just realised how dissapointing it is to read most of my blogs, theyre good stories compact into a few sentences. Thats frustrating. I know Id get peeved if I read something like that, on the other hand, I dont think you'd care HAHA. But, Im going for longer sentences anyway, slow things down a little bit, make it a tad more interesting, more details. ok, now Im just dragging on. NOW, I know why I use short sentences, cause I dont want to drag on and make it a snooze-fest. Forget long, detailed blogs. Im straight to the point. If you dont mind, oh wait, you dont care.

Wait, but longer blogs just seem so attractive. They pull me in and force me to read, as soon as I get half-way Im stuck there till the last word, no matter how boring. So, I might actually go for the long-blogs. Plus, I wont feel the sense of unfinished business that I get everytime I post a short-blog.

Hmm, I dont know. Give me a night. I'll think about it. Knowing myself well and that I am an obvious person when it comes down to choices, I'd probably stick with the short-blogs. I mean, come on, theyre easy and Im good at it HAHA.

This has to be the most senseless and random blog Ive ever posted. It has no meaning and purpose. ENJOY

damn you, guilt

Finally. You see the picture above? Ive been trying to find that picture for almost a year. I mean, I knew it was by Alfred Eisendstaedt, but I couldnt find a decent enough copy on the net. Now I have. Thank god.

Sherily is a pain in the buttocks at the moment, with the dance she's doing this saturday. Im practically forced into it, I dont really know why. I want to leave, but I just cant do it to her, not to sound big-headed or come off as show-boating, but I think she needs me there. Especially since Adruce and Tun wont be able to do it, due to their own problems. So, I guess, Im stuck with it.

Also, appreciation is common courtesy. thought everyone knew that.

On a side note, MIDTERM is coming up. creeping up. sneaking up. ambush.
Im prepared. in a sense.

OH, and I just realised that Ive succesfully ignored my recent emotional distress for the past three weeks HAHA. Probably from all the dancing. Now there's no more dancing. Just...emotional distress HAHA. sigh

oh shit

Im dissapointed in myself. No, wait. I failed myself.

Yes...I watched it.          sigh.

I couldnt take it anymore, it was just so freaking tempting. There it was, in all it's un-edited and pirated glory; the leaked XMEN ORIGINS:WOLVERINE. My dad bought it. without mercy and consideration of his second born son.

But, it doesnt matter. Im still as excited to watch it in the cinemas. Im just happy the excitement isnt detered, in fact, the anticipation is killing me. After watching the leaked version that is not finished with its computer graphics, I just couldnt wait to watch it when it is done. I mean, trust me; the scenes are epic.

So, my faith in my loyalty to my inner-nerd still exists. phew.

XMEN ORIGINS countdown #4

                                                      "HAHAHA!"

Guess what? Im in the march for Jebat. At first, I joined out of pure boredom, had nothing else to do other then practice with Nabila screaming in my ear. Go figure.

It's awesome. Got to bond with my fellow Jebat-ians, mingled with the El Presidente; Darriel, and played around in the mud. I dont know what happened and in what order it occured, but somehow Adruce joined in as well. Pretty random, but cool. Go buy your Jebat tshirt, adruce! Go!.

So, apparently, on sunday, muiz and I will be handling the new banner they made. It looks like it'll kick ass, I wont be ashamed. It feels good to be involved this deep with Sports Day, usually I'd just dance and fuck off to Taipan. Change is good.

Also, have to make sure the senamrobik dance is up to par. We have alot of people to impress.

On a side note; Bryan Singer, you are a saint. Thank you for jump-starting a limitless franchise that could go on for years. Only wished you would direct XMEN ORIGINS.

XMEN ORIGINS countdown #3

                                     "...you ever play street fighter?"

Im not sure how it's spelt, but I know its pronounced rap-thai.
So, full rehearsal for this coming sunday's Sports Day is tomorow. a day out in the sun. fantastic.

Im hoping that it goes smoothly, dont want to look like a bunch of idiots who wasted the past two weeks and end up looking like crap. Confidence, people! confidence!.

Im actually eager about tomorow though HAHA. I mean, there's always someone who messes up during rehearsal, and I'll be sure to be there laughing. at them. I know I sound sadistic right now, but I just need a good laugh. something to make me smile, at least. Also, having everyone on the poor, down-trodden field tomorow might be quite fun, share a few laughs with my buds etc etc.

Oh crap. I better get some quality sleep tonight, I'd need it for tomorow. Need to blow their minds with awesome dance execution(?).Im rambling, clear evidence of boredom and fatigue. Which it's only cure is good, much-needed, much-loved, compulsary sleep.

You know, I think the reason why I'm having this mild case of insomnia, is cause something is bugging me. I know that isnt really much of an answer, but at least its something. I'll work my way up from that. I need to get to the bottom of this. I need fix it. I need to sleep.

Heaven in tiny packets

LINDT & SPRUNGLI

swiss-made chocolate. heaven wrapped in tiny little rectangular packets. room temperature.

the only thing keeping me being me. you know, when other people know youre emotionally distressed, it doesnt help. they just keep bugging you and telling you "what is best for you".

sigh.

XMEN ORIGINS countdown #2

I really should consider taking in more 'ZZZ' time. Everyday for the past two weeks, I go through each day with this over-powering need to doze off. And that's not good.

Im thinking it's thanks to all the senamrobik. Yeah, pretty sure.

So, as much as Ive grown to love the past two weeks, I really cant wait for it all to end. Finito. I mean, Ive got my studies to worry about, and me sleeping isnt going to benefit. I'm actually studying as we blog, trying to fit it in any free/relaxed/chilled/peaceful slots Ive got in my packed packed schedule. Ok, its not that packed, as a matter of fact it's open wide. Im free most of the time. I just...dont want to study. NO MOOD.

For now, my aim is to sleep more. sounds easy enough.
