"I'll Go. I'll Go. I'll Go. I'll Go."

I should never listen to my older brother. Period.

Last year, whilst I was in US, I made it an objective to buy as many dvds I could get my hands on. So, visiting the Virgin Megastore on the Walk Of Fame was like another holiday in itself, for me. I had a blast, walking around the mega(wuh?)store and seeing all these cool things that I cant find in M'sia, but the movies were the reasons why I was there. You should've seen me, I was this asian teenager waltzing around the store with no care in the world like a Disney movie, with a stack of dvds in my hand. I was happy and content with all my purchases, solid movies.

But, there is one regret; Ferris Bueller's Day Off. When I say 'regret', I dont mean that I shouldnt have bought it, it's the fact that I didnt buy it is the problem. I had the copy in my hand, glancing through the luscious hair of 80's Broderick on the front cover, saying to myself, "Adrees, you've got to buy this.", because I've heard of the movie, and I've been trying to find it on dvd. BUT, my dear older brother tapped me on my shoulder and casually said, "Dont, man. That movie sucks ass". I was contemplating whether to listen to him, or not. The problem is, I listened to him. sigh, idiot.

Last week, I watched the movie for the first time on Astro, and fell in love again with 80's creative cinematography. And dont get me started on the brilliant idol character of Ferris Bueller, the writers created a gold mine with this character, he's just pure awesome! Matthew Broderick at his prime, not that it lasted long.

ALSO, supporting performance from Alan Ruck as Cameron, the ever-loyal best friend stole the show. I just loved his character, to bits.

Morecambe High School

I dont usually blog about my dream(s). There's a good and solid reason for that; I just simply never remember them haha.

BUT, this time was an exception. I think, for me to actually remember and memorise the certain details of my dream(s), I would have to enjoy the dream(s) and wish it would never end. I just enjoyed a dream, so I remember a few things.

This dream was unexpected and very random, but what dream isnt, right?. It was on the night of my senior prom, and I was all pimped from head-to-toe, looking all fly and mingling with the crowd, basically having a real good time and enjoying mydreamself. Suddenly, I look over to the far wall and there they were, just standing there, non-chalantly; Peter Tait and Phil Jackson, two of my best friends from my days in the UK.

Oh, I got excited. Real excited. I remember in the dream, I skipped all the way to other side of the hall and just jumped between them. They were wearing suits and tux's, proper for the occasion, which is weird. The three of us sipped some bubbly and the first words that came out of their mouths were, "Hey, wanna follow us back to UK?". Naturally, I replied with a hasty and confident "YES".

So, in the dream, what follows next, is a scene at the airport(the thing is with dreams, you suddenly have the ability to cut unimportant scenes to make it more convenient haha), and I'm at the counter, making a purchase for a ticket to Great Britain.

This dream definitely made re-live the good times I had over there . I know the UK is not my home, but I've had so many special memories there, and its sentimental value creates a sense of home-sickness that I cant stand sometimes.

You know what's funny? The fact that the ticket was RM39.90 HAHA!

Paramore Live Lounge cover,

Woah, damn.

MUIZZUDDINSHAH BIN ABD AZIZ,

First things first; Muiz, I'm so sorry for not noticing that today was in fact your birthday.
And, I'm sorry for wishing your older sister, who shares the same birthday with you, but at the same time not wishing you haha.

Today is Muiz's birthday, he's 17. I only wish we could spend it together, with the rest of the gang, just like we used to.

I wont be afraid to admit that the original quartet has not been the same since beginning of this year, well, end of last year to be honest. Things just keep changing for the worst, things that either forbid or delay certain things that we, as a group, do. So, it definitely sucks that we are not as close and bound tight as before.

But, there's nothing we can do but wait it out. It's the only option, unless we stumble upon a time-machine, then lets talk.

Whatever happens, whatever is said, whatever is done, I know one thing for sure; Muiz, you are the man. Love you, Happy Birthday.

Green Lantern.

Sorry, no trailer. BUT, it's been decided. everything. The release date, the director, the producer, the location, and the reason why I wanted to post this up; the actor who'll play Hal Jordan.

It's none other then the infamous Ryan Reynolds. Seriously, he's more then perfect for the job. Even his jawline is fit to Jordan description.

Here's a bite-size reference, if you need it haha:

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - After an intense months-long search, Warner Bros. has chosen Ryan Reynolds to play the title character in "Green Lantern," the studio's live-action movie based on the DC Comics hero.

Reynolds and his representatives entered negotiations for the part Friday, after the studio held two rounds of screen tests for the actor, Bradley Cooper and Jared Leto. Justin Timberlake also did a screen test.

The film is being directed by Martin Campbell and produced by Donald De Line and Greg Berlanti.

One reason for the lengthy search process was that De Line, Campbell and the studio each had a different favorite among the finalists, making it difficult to come to a consensus.

If the deal is completed, it would make Reynolds the only actor to have played heroes for both Marvel and DC. He recently starred in a comic-book movie, 20th Century Fox's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," in which he played Deadpool, also known as the Merc with a Mouth. The character is being developed for a spin-off in which Reynolds will star. He also played Marvel's vampire hunter Hannibal King in "Blade: Trinity."

"Lantern" is Reynolds second stab at a DC Comics hero. A few years ago, he was attached to play the comic company's speedster "The Flash."

....I'm so chuffed that it's Reynolds. Man, he's got Deadpool and GL under his belt, now that is something to boast about haha. 2011, here we come.

'Spread'

An Ashton Kutcher movie that actually looks decent, due to the fact that it looks like Ashton is actually acting in this one! :O.
Sigh, the good flicks just keep coming.

'Moon'

Simple title, yet an intricate storyline.
Oh, and it's Sam Rockwell, what more could you ask for?.

'Jennifer's Body'

:D. I know that you guy's would think it's just another stereotypical teen-movie, especially with Megan Fox being the lead actress and everything,

well, think again :). looks like we have another promising movie.

'Daybreakers'

I believe it's safe to say that we have a whole lot of movies to look forward to at the end of this year and next.
This one in particular has Willem Defoe :). I miss Willem Defoe.

Fit! Another one! HAHA.

Oh man, it's a movie about nazi zombies....NAZI zombies. 'nuff said.

'Bruno'

Lady: "You swapped the baby for what?!"

Bruno:"..an iPod."

'It Might Get Loud'

..that wasnt a statement, it's the title of the movie. It's actually a documentary, about the electric guitar. It doesnt get more interesting then that haha. The Edge from U2, Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin and Jack White from White Stripes, the cast.

FITRI, watch this..

FIT! ANOTHER ZOMBIE-FLICK. HAHA!. DUDE, this movie looks like another Shaun Of The Dead, and I know you havent seen it yet, but it's okay.
This movie looks like it's going to occupy most of my time next year(that is, when I have nothing else to do :) )

It's all good,

http://www.npr.org/blogs/monkeysee/2009/09/disney_marvel_and_the_tortured.html

Recently, Marvel was bought over by Disney. For a worth of $4 Billion, in cash and stock.
AND, obviously, like any other die-hard and common fan of the half-a century comic legends; I freaked. I mean, come on! the first thing that came into my head when I heard the news was an Iron Man suit with a hidden-Mickey at his repulsor blasts!. BUT, I realised that Disney are also businessmen, which means it's all about profit.

So, do not fret, fellow fans. The day Disney meddles with Marvel's multi-billion-dollar business plan, AND their fans, will be the day Mickey Mouse shoots Donald Duck in the face for sounding so annoying.

Oh, visit the link above if you're still paranoid, it'll enlighten you.

'got money'

I paid my share of the dj money :D. Finally. All is well.

HAH!

Chelsea Chelsea Chelsea, tsk tsk.

So, the governing body of the world's football, FIFA, have just recently fined and hit Chelsea FC with a transfer ban. Let me repeat myself; transfer ban.

This ban is spread out between 2009 and 2011, ending on January of the latter year. Chelsea were given this brutal ban after persuading a young striker from a french team to breach his still-standing contract, which is a BIGBIG deal in the football world. in any world for that matter.

This just goes to show; when you give your word, make sure you're good for it. If not, dont even bother.

Sigh, it just warms me up knowing that Chelsea arent going to be buying anyone anytime soon haha.
